Regional Employer Support Network (RESN) offers free advice or simply a shoulder to lean on from people who understand the challenges that face those who deal with human resources issues.

What?

Regional Employer Support Network provides a means for networking opportunities and support for professionals who deal with human resources issues.

Who?

Anyone who deals with human resources issues in their job will benefit from participation in this group. Whether you are an experienced HR manager, a new HR assistant, a payroll administrator or a business owner, you are encouraged to join us.

Why?

Benefit from expertise in the region and beyond by participating in this network of professionals dealing With the diverse aspects of human resources management. Some sessions will be formal educational presentations while others will be informal discussions with peers to hear proven tricks of the trade.

When?

Effective for 2009, in-depth sessions will be offered on a quarterly basis. Watch the Optivation News for topics, speakers and registration forms. Sessions are held from 9 a.m. to noon.

Networking meetings

  • Effective for 2009, sessions will be held quarterly.
  • Presentations are given on predetermined topics. View schedule for upcoming sessions.
  • Group question and answer period regarding the Topic of the session.
  • Informal discussion, facilitated by an experienced human resources professional.
 

Quarterly meetings

  • Sessions are 9:00 a.m. until noon.
  • Held on the first Thursday of March, June, September, and December.
  • Presenters will be an expert in a specific area of human resources management.
  • Registration fee will be assessed to attend quarterly sessions.
  • Fee covers costs for speaker, materials and refreshments.
