Optivation (formerly known as the Center for Research & Innovation/Custom College - click here to read the press release) is comprised of people you've known and trusted for years. In 2010, we introduced a new name and brand to better describe our value proposition.

In  a nutshell:

• We're a business-savvy, entrepreneurial and responsive to our changing environment...just like you.
• As a joint venture of Bemidji State University and Northwest Technical College, we have access to the latest research and faculty expertise.
• But like a business, we constantly reinvest in new curricula, equipment and resources to better serve our growing list of customers.
• Our strong connections with business, government and the community keep us up to date on trends and best practices.
