"The entire class [Online Certificate in Human Resources Management] was valuable to me for the simple fact that I have no experience and am currently like a sponge trying to absorb as much as possible as soon as possible. I really liked the fact that I was able to ask questions and receive a knowledgeable response from Kerry but also from the class too. It was wonderful to be prompted to research and explore the millions of websites and information out there."
"The BSU Center for Research and Innovation was extremely helpful in analyzing our needs as a manufacturer and then providing us with the tools to achieve those needs. They were professional and upbeat in each meeting and were very flexible in adjusting to our schedule. We plan on using their services again and would highly recommend them for a wide variety of services."
"Excellent feedback on homework assignments. Excellent book. Using a real world project is a great idea for this course. "
"This was my first opportunity for a on line class. I did not realize how a course would take place so I have learned a lot about that in itself. I did not know how much time it would take but I know the next time I will manage my time better. I thought it was an excellent course and I have been using the methods that I have learned, many times now at my work place. The two books are good resources and will help guide me in the future. I hope to be a Project Manager soon at work and I believe this course is my step to get there."
"CRI has lead the way in the development of the Northern Minnesota Safety Council. A mission, vision, partnerships and presentations all resulted from sessions facilitated by Kerry Ross. CRI serves as host and project manager for the monthly educational sessions as well as more in-depth safety workshops. The Northern MN Safety Council would most likely not exist without the efforts of a small group of safety directors and the work of CRI"
"We are no longer in crisis mode thanks to the efforts and professionalism of the CRI staff. Kerry Ross, our liaison, has guided our organization forward to success through her talented and intelligent handling of our grant process, speaker selection and contact and finally being a gracious host to our attendees. We have grown five fold in our attendance and that is due in no small measure to the staff at CRI."
"North Central Door Co LLC has had a partnership with the Center for Research and Innovation for nearly ten years. We have done two Job Skills Grants, two strategic planning's, quality training sessions, and also produced our 'new orientation' training video. CRI also is a lead for the community in the growth of the safety network for the area.
Currently CRI is developing a 'Project Management' training to help in North Central Door's move to a new facility. This will be the biggest and most important endeavor we will attempt. The Center for Research and Innovation is our 'go to' resource for most all of our training, as they are willing to customize a program to fit our needs. The staff is very competent, professional and easy to work with."
"CRI has been an integral part of our efforts to provide continuing ed to natural resources professionals in this area. The missing link was always the 'business' end of things - mailings, media contacts, etc- and they have graciously provided that for us. Without it, we wouldn't have made a go of this."
"Bemidji State University, Center for Research and Innovation has been an excellent resource and partner.
Neilson Place has had several opportunities to work with the CRI staff to develop programs for teaching present and future staff enhanced job skills. We have found the CRI staff to be very positive, creative, willing to listen and able to design and adapt programs that meet our specific needs.
CRI staff is always energetic and willing to do the extra steps to make things work. It has been a pleasure working with and learning from CRI. They are developing strong ties and becoming an excellent resource to businesses in our community."
