There never seems to be enough money for educational and non-profit institutions. This intensive one-day course will help administrators, teachers, development staff, and others to become more creative and effective fundraisers. Helpful strategies as well as specific events and other vehicles for fundraising, including grantwriting, will be covered. Specific suggestions based on the type of institution you represent will be shared. Dr. Alberti has extensive experience as a fundraising professional, administrator, professor, and author. He has served on the national board of the National Society of Fundraising Executives, now known as the Association of Fundraising Professionals. He has also written private, corporate, and federal grants. He coauthored a book titled "Money Makers: Special Events Fundraising" and is currently writing a book with the working title of "Fundraising in Hard Times."
