Join the Adventures in Lifelong Learning for a Fall Conference October 14th and 15th. This event is being hosted by the Bemidji Area Adventures in Lifelong the Learning in collaboration with the Park Rapids Area Headwaters Lifelong Learning Center (HLLC) and the Bagley area Northern Exposure to Lifelong Learning (NELL). Featured speakers will be Art Lee, a very popular speaker at ALL presentations and John Arneson. Registration is required along with a fee of $25, this will include both the reception and conference. Click here for a registration form. If you are only able to make it the reception the fee will only be $5. Please send all registration forms to Nancy Brovold, an Adventures in Lifelong Learning Board of Directors Member. Nancy can also be contacted will any questions at ndbrov@gmail.com. The conference will being on Thursday, October 14th, 2010 at the David Park House in Bemidji from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.. A wagon ride through downtown Bemidji will also be available. The main conference will be held on Friday October 15th, 2010 from 8:30 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. at Optivation (formerly known as the Center for Research and Innovation); registration will be held from 8:30 A.M. to 9:00 A.M.. The purpose of the Adventures in Lifelong Fall Conference is to provide a forum for lifelong learning groups throughout the state to share ideas regarding programs and speakers, funding sources and publicity. All of the lifelong learning group’s board members have been invited to attend, along with other that are interested.
