May 19, 2010 608 Certification Course - Core, Types 1, 2, and 3 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
A certification course will be offered for anyone that needs the 608 Certification (Core, Type 1, 2, and 3) for their jobs. 608 Certification is for those who work on industrial stationary cooling systems. The Federal Government requires all individuals who open a system or container holding a controlled refrigerant to be certified. Persons who work on stationary equipment or use refrigerant designed for these systems can become certified by passing a proctored Section 608 examination. Dates for the course are May 19-20, 2010, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (both days), at Northwest Technical College. Registration deadline is May 14, 2010. Cost of the program is $200 per participant plus the cost of the book $15.00. There is an $18.50 fee for the exam which is taken at the end of the training which is in addition to the registration fee.
