NW Regional Small Business Development Center

The Small Business Development Center has created a new resource library located at the Center for Research and Innovation.  The resources are free and available for all SBDC clients.

Congratulations to Chris Boerger, owner of Windsor Kennels in Crookston.  The SBDC helped Chris with his business plan and financial projections to expand the business.

CRI to host public informational meeting for Blandin Leadership Series on August 5.

A public informational meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 5 at BSUís Center for Research and Innovation (3801 Bemidji Avenue North), 5:30-6:30 pm , during which time faculty and alumni of the program will be available to answer questions. † Everyone is invited to attend and learn more about the program and the application process.

Minnesota Women's Business Center offers Business Basics Class at CRI on August 12, 2-4pm.

This 2-hour seminar gives an overview of what you need to consider before you start a business.  Learn how to take your dream and turn it in to reality.

Join the Bemidji Area Natural Resources Continuing Education Consortium for upcoming presentations.

A local group of natural resource professionals organizes monthly presentations to promote an exchange of ideas, encourage open dialogue, and create a higher awareness of professional perspectives related to natural resources issues. Topics discussed may be somewhat technical or scientific in nature depending on the subject and the speaker.

The Center for Research and Innovation along with the NW Minnesota Regional Small Business Development Center provide a full range of business and career services.† The Minnesota Small Business Development Center program is funded by the U.S. Small Business Administration, the Minnesota Department of Trade and Economic Development, and sponsoring centers.
