CNAs: Expanding your employment options

Optivation and Northwest Technical College are excited to offer a chance for Certified Nursing Assistants to take a 6 week long, self-paced, Home Health Aide online course to expand their qualifications and employability. Gretchen Larson: a new face at Optivation

This summer Optivation has been excited to welcome consultant Gretchen Larson to our team. Gretchen will be developing and expanding Optivation’s program offerings. She is currently working with business and medical professionals to manage, host, and promote their continuing education courses. In addition, she has set up both technical and creative writing course offerings for writers and businesses.

Gretchen is an attorney with a long resume and great experience developing, managing, and promoting programs. Her mission at Optivation is to help businesses and individuals shape their futures in positive and creative ways.

Active learners stay engaged with Adventures in Lifelong Learning

The group formerly known as the “Academy of Lifelong Learning” has a new name that emphasizes the joy and journey of learning. This fall, the group now known as Adventures in Lifelong Learning (ALL), will have speakers who bring their passion and expertise to audiences of all ages at the Optivation north office. Topics will include “An Introduction to Latin America: Wealth, Poverty, and Class,” “Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow – Preserving our Heritage,” among many more! Lifelong learning statewide gathering

In addition to the usual offerings, ALL is also a proud sponsor of the statewide Lifelong Learners fall conference. This gathering will include a reception at the David Park House as well as featured speakers, Art Lee and Janet Jacobson. Events begin the evening of October 14.
