Boiler Operator License- High and Low Pressure
This offering is for those interested in high and low pressure boiler operation. This course will be held every Monday and Thursday from 5:00pm to 9:00 pm starting on September 8th 2011 and ending on October 10th 2011. This 40 hour course prepares the participant for the State Boiler's Exam that will be held In Detroit Lakes on 20-Oct-2011. Download the registration form. Bringing the Best of the Best of the region to YOU!
A collaborative event between Bemidji State University, Northland Community and Technical College, Northwest Technical College, University of NOrth Dakota, and the University of Minnesota, Crookston are a part of an innovative economic development effort called IMPACT 20/20. For the first time, they are teaming up to bring this- and other- world-class training offerings to Northwest Minnesota.
For a limited time grant funding has enabled IMPACT 20/20 to offer this valuable training at a greatly reduced price, space is limited so early registration is recommended. All sessions run from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.

The Art of Leadership I
In The Art of Leadership I students will self define leadership and the role it plays in their life. They will learn the elements of caring leadership, how to identify the satisfactions and frustrations of leadership, and what people want in a leader. They will learn to look at leadership through the lens of both trait and behavior theories. This class focuses on distinguishing qualities of leaders and the characteristics of followers as they are relevant to leadership. This course runs from October 3rd, 2011 to November 21st, 2011.
