Course Description

In the "Developing Forms with Adobe Acrobat" course, you will learn how to convert your existing business documents into Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) files then manipulate, merge, arrange, share, review, and protect the files using Adobe Acrobat. In the process of learning how to create dynamic, interactive PDF forms, you'll also discover many little known, but invaluable tools that Acrobat Professional has to offer. No prior experience with Adobe Acrobat is required. Some of what you will learn includes:

  • Navigating the interface
  • Static vs. dynamic PDF forms
  • Creating form fields
  • Adding interactivity with actions
  • Adding calculations
  • Best practices for forms creation

Course Objective Students will learn to convert paper-based forms into an Adobe PDF e-form to allow them to capture business data. They will develop a PDF e-form from one of their existing business forms, eliminating the need for handwriting text, and adding efficiencies through using computer-based data entry in your forms. Instructor Brandon holds a Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Information Systems from Florida Gulf Coast University. He is currently employed as a Data Services Representative at Paul Bunyan Telephone. Over the past 4 years, he has converted all of the paper-based customer applications into PDF e-forms. He has performed training sessions on many computer software applications for the past 7 years at BSU and Paul Bunyan Telephone.
