Dr. Charles Alberti, professor emeritus of education at Bemidji State
As teachers we are always asking our students questions. Occasionally the goals become diminished by the regurgitation of memorized facts as the expense of higher-order thinking skills. This program will focus on techniques to help students gain control of their thinking abilities and the subsequent effects on their own behavior while learning to accept personal responsibilities. Getting students positioned to make the effort to join class discussions as a full participant will be explored through a number of activities and confidents builders.
